Breakfast Smoothie...

Sweater: Club Monaco | Bottoms: J.Brand | Necklace: J.Crew | Flats: J.Crew (sold out, in love with this metallic style) | Earrings: Nordstrom | Bracelets: J.Crew, Poshlocket c/o, Stella and Dot c/o | Ring: Ariella | Lips: YSL Sheer Candy #9 | Nails: Teddy Girl by Butter London | Bag: Celine (similar style) |  Plates/Bowl: C.Wonder | Blender: Vita Mix
Since the hubs and I have settled into our new home, I feel like we have finally got back into the swing of our regular eating habits. You see, when we didn't have our 'own' kitchen, we ate out almost every night and I rarely took the time to make a healthy breakfast.

A couple of months ago I discovered my love for green breakfast smoothies. It's healthy, refreshing and I love the tropical taste. It gives me a sense of starting the day off on the right foot. I do however add in a little something that some may consider defeating the purpose of a green drink but I love the little sugar! I add in a 1/2 cup of Trop 50, a lower calorie OJ (it's my secret ingredient). Enjoy!!

  63. Add Protein powder bc that's all carbs and sugar. Vega brand endurance sport in chocolate is amazing. Also I add garden of life's raw greens which is all fruits and veggies for day! The protein will sustain u longer and keep ur blood sugar balanced. I also use almond milk or coconut water in there too.

  70. What a fabulous outfit, I particularly am drawn to your bracelet stacking since this is something that I just recently began embracing. I'm just getting over an aversion to mixing metals and have found rose gold to be a powerful force for good in this!

In my green smoothies, I put in just a bit of lime and it goes a loooong way.

  71. You are so stinkin' cute Rach! Seriously, what a clever idea, sharing a recipe and then showing off yourself enjoying the recipe :] Kind of like when Paula Dean makes something wonderfully delicious, and we're already drooling, then she eats the delicious something and mercilessly expresses her enjoyment of whatever she has made! But your take on it is obviously through photography but your fashionista side is very prevalent!

Thanks for the smoothie recipeeeeee. Summer is coming. Smoothie season!! Yay!
