Holiday ready with ann taylor...

Top, Skirt, Heels, Clutch, Necklace, Bracelets (1, 2): Ann Taylor c/o | Tights: Frenchi | Lips: YSL Sheer Candy #9
When dressing for a holiday party, don't over think it. Stick to the classics and infuse an unexpected color! Don't forget your statement necklace, bright lip, and your little black clutch. When hosting a holiday party, don't overwhelm yourself with fancy recipes. I'll be the first to admit, I'm no cook. My go-to holiday recipe is Hot Cocoa. With a variety of toppings to choose from and festive mugs, you have yourself a cozy drink to sip on while you chat with friends. Simple and stress free!

  1. Lovely, Rachel! I love turquoise (probably because I live in Miami and get my healthy dose all year-round!), but I'm happy to see it styled in less summery ways. I also wore it for Thanksgiving in a formal, festive way.

Melissa Merrill has a gorgeous home! :)

  10. I really like how you combined the different textures of your mohair shirt and (leathery look) skirt. It is surprising how each piece stands out when paired with a totally different texture! My first instinct would have been to pair them with something plain. Good idea!

  61. Hi Rach,

I think it's really unexpected and refreshing how you took a traditional glam holiday look and paired it with that perforated leather trumpet skirt. It looks edgy and fashion forward while still staying true to your signature classic silhouettes.

By the way, that pillow and chair in the first shot--to die for.
