The Secret To Boyfriends...

Sweater: J.Crew | Pants: Paige {old} {similar style here , actual bf style here+here} | Belt: Gap {similar style } | Shoes: Asos {similare style here}  | Sunnies: Michael Kors | Cuff: Ann Taylor {recent} | Bracelets: Michael Kors, c/o Poshlocket, J.Crew | Ring: c/o Poshlocket | Earrings: J.Crew | Necklace: Nashelle
My "boyfriend" pant is among one of my favorite pairs of jeans to wear. They're so comfy and instantly add a hint of casual sophistication. So, if the boyfriend pant is such a great staple to grace the hangers of my closet, why is hunting down the perfect fit so hard?! Well, I thought I would fill you in on my little "boyfriend" secret. 

Secret 1: Mine are not really bf pants, they're just plain old skinnies
Secret 2: I bought them two sizes larger
Secret 3: Choosing a pair with hints of distressed details makes all the difference 
Secret 4: I rolled the bottoms to get just the right look.

Hope these little secrets will help some of you select the perfect boyfriend {jeans}.

  4. I love that sweater!!! It is the perfect neon yellow shade! And, I also do the same to my pair of skinny jeans that are also 2 sizes too big!!! They look and fit so much better than a real pair of boyfriend jeans! LOL! Great minds we have! xx

  13. I have some that are also just distressed skinnies and I think they are way more flattering than the actual boyfriend jean style, which can sometimes be too saggy through the hips/butt. Love that striped sweater & the fun yellow pumps! :)

  15. i've been rolling up regular jeans a lot myself lately. it just totally changes the look of an outfit doesn't it? so jealous those asos pumps fit you. i ordered them and they were REALLY big in the toe area...very weird fit on me so they had to go back. =(

  17. Love this entire look! Those neon shoes are awesome. I used the same tips. I found Levi skinny jeans that were two sizes bigger than I normally wear at a thrift store and wear them as boyfriend jeans. The only thing I have to do is distress them and they'll be perfect.

  69. SO smart to purchase the skinnies 2 sizes larger. I had thought about purchasing some straight jeans like this to get this look, since the boyfriend jeans are always comfortable but well... look like your boyfriend wore them.
