When Meg Went to Prom...

Dress: Vera Wang Lavender via Neiman Marcus | Earrings: J.Crew | Clutch: Juicy Couture via TJ Maxx | Bracelet: J.Crew | Lips: More To Love, Half Red, and Angel {all by MAC} | Hair: Sock Bun
I have two little sisters that are pretty much human sized barbie dolls... yes, they're GORGEOUS!! Megan, the oldest of the two "babies" (their nickname since they were well... babies) got asked to her first prom ever {her date was a sweet boy named Colby}.
When she called to tell me she had been asked to the dance, I told her I was going to be her official Prom Stylist. Every girl needs one, right??  It was SO much fun getting to style a true, living doll and get her Prom ready.  We found her fantastic dress on our weekend get-away to Denver. I choose a gorgeous yet simple dress, styled her hair in a timeless chignon,  and added only one bracelet paired with crystal and pearl drop earrings.  I didn't want anything to take away from Megs gorgeous face, including the dress.  I did her makeup in a classic style with a smoky eye and added a little pop of color to her lips. My goal was to let Megan's inner and outer beauty shine!  Mission accomplished, if I do say so myself.  She looked stunning and won best dressed... well, at least in my book!
